To reset the MMI, simultaneously press and hold the SETUP button, the Confirmation button and the Top Right button. The MMI shuts down and restarts – takes about 60 seconds.

The lighting can now be configured in the CAR menu under Ambient lighting.

Door ambient lighting

In addition, it is possible to activate ambient light on all door modules, if you plan to retrofit it. Front doors use pin 8 for +12v and pin 5 (brown) for ground, of the 32 pin connector. Rear doors use pin 3 of the 16 pin connector, ground is again the big brown wire.
